Mobile innovations are being introduced at a dizzying pace. With advancements in connectivity, memory, processing power, and battery life in devices like the Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, it’s apparent that mobile is expanding its footprint in the business world.
At Ruckus, we’re committed to integrating additional mobile capabilities into our Cloud Wi-Fi offering to make it more manageable and simpler to use than ever before.
As a matter of fact, we recently introduced a new and improved mobile app that truly reshapes the user experience. The Ruckus Cloud app includes a dashboard where you can easily monitor and manage the Cloud Wi-Fi service. From your smartphone, you can see the status of your venues, networks, and access points (APs). Tied to these elements are detailed pages for each area, which provide an additional layer of insight into your wireless network. You can also use your smartphone’s camera to scan the serial numbers of APs in order to register them to the cloud. Plus you can easily access analytics and other valuable data.
In developing our mobile app, the approach we took was simple: eliminating complexity to make your life easier. We give you the ability to access the information you need to manage your Wi-Fi service directly on your smartphone, anywhere and anytime.
As we look to the future and stay on top of emerging Internet technology trends, we won’t stand still either. We plan to leverage and integrate these advancements to continually improve the usability of our mobile app. Our goal is to make Wi-Fi simpler to set up and to manage than it has been in the past. And we’re doing that by learning from other user-centric applications and applying similar design principles to advance and refine the Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi mobile app.
